Pelham Farmers’ Market: Vendor Profile – Kukoly Farms

What a wonder it was to behold my very FIRST Spring of 2014 sighting of locally grown asparagus on Thursday May 29th at the Pelham Farmers’ Market!

Alas I had arived a bit late (6:15PM) but thankfully just in time to purchase the last two bunches that farmer John Kukoly had at his table. They did look rather lonely all by themselves on that big table and I was very happy to give them a home.

Kukoly Farm is located at Tice and Centre St. in Pelham. John has been bringing his crops, primarily Apples, Plums, Cherries, Raspberries and Grapes to sell at the Pelham Farmers’ Market for the past 5 or 6 years. He has been a regular vendor at the Welland Farmers’ Market since 1967.
